As Director of Risk Management, Geoffrey Wilk leads the strategic oversight of safety, compliance, and operational risk across all company projects. With a focus on high-risk environments including landfill operations, coal ash (CCR) handling, and large-scale mass grading, he is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks that impact personnel, equipment, and overall project performance.
Geoffrey integrates proactive safety systems with data-driven decision-making to reduce incident frequency, control workers’ compensation exposure, and protect the company’s EMR performance. His approach combines rigorous field-level enforcement—such as task-based Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), equipment compliance protocols, and real-time incident response—with advanced workforce screening and predictive risk modeling.
He oversees all claims management, and return-to-work strategies, ensuring each case is handled with precision, speed, and full regulatory compliance. By coordinating closely with operations, legal counsel, and insurance partners, he ensures the company maintains a defensible position in all claims while minimizing financial and operational disruption.
In addition to risk control, Geoffrey plays a key role in workforce development. He has designed and implemented structured hiring assessments, safety behavior evaluations, and new-hire retention systems aimed at identifying high-performing, safety-oriented employees from day one.
His leadership supports a culture where safety is not just a requirement, but an operational standard—driving productivity, reducing liability, and ensuring every project is executed with discipline and accountability.
